1. Primary ticket sales only
Hometown Events allows verified organizers, venues, promoters, schools, nonprofits, municipalities, fairs, festivals, and authorized businesses to sell tickets directly. Random users cannot resell tickets on the platform.
2. Upfront fees
Ticket prices must show all mandatory Hometown Events platform fees before checkout. Stripe processing fees are separate and may vary.
3. Approval and verification
Concerts, festivals, fairs, expos, and high-attendance paid events require manual admin approval before ticket sales go live. Hometown Events may pause sales, hold payouts, or remove events for trust and safety reasons.
